Field CTO / Head of FDE and Deployment Strategy - ANZ - AI Voice and Agent Platform

The Opportunity

• We are partnering with a global AI leader entering the ANZ market and hiring a founding technical leader.
• The company has raised US$781m, reached an US$11bn valuation, and is building one of the most advanced AI platforms globally across voice, agents, audio, creative tools, and developer infrastructure.
• This is a senior, zero-to-one role. You will operate like a technical co-founder for the region, working alongside the local commercial lead to win strategic customers, build the deployment function, hire the technical team, and ensure the company’s AI technology creates measurable enterprise impact.

What You’ll Do

• Build and lead the regional technical function across Forward Deployed Engineering and Deployment Strategy.
• Own the technical side of market entry, strategic sales, enterprise deployment, and customer success.
• Work directly with C-suite, engineering, product, operations, and transformation leaders at strategic customers.
• Lead discovery, demos, solution design, architecture discussions, security reviews, and technical validation.
• Hire and develop the team required to deploy AI successfully across the region.
• Partner with Sales to shape account strategy, technical win themes, proof-of-value plans, and deployment pathways.
• Act as the senior technical voice in-market for customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Stay hands-on enough to understand integrations, prototypes, product constraints, and deployment realities.
• Feed regional product, compliance, localisation, and technical learnings back to global Product and Engineering.

What You’ll Bring

• Senior technical leadership experience across software, AI, cloud, data, product, solutions, or enterprise architecture.
• Experience working directly with enterprise customers in a technical capacity.
• Ability to influence executives while also earning credibility with engineers.
• Experience hiring, leading, or mentoring technical teams.
• Strong understanding of APIs, cloud environments, integrations, security, software architecture, and enterprise delivery.
• Strong interest in AI voice, agents, automation, and frontier AI products.
• Comfort operating in a zero-to-one environment with high ambiguity and high ownership.
• Clear communication, strong judgement, and a builder’s mindset.
