The Opportunity

• We are partnering with a high-growth consumer health and digital platform business hiring a Chief Technology Officer to lead technology strategy, product engineering, architecture, delivery, and IT operations.
• This is a senior executive role reporting to the founders/CEOs. The business is scaling quickly and requires a CTO who can align technology with commercial growth, build and lead high-performing teams, and ensure the platform remains scalable, secure, reliable, and competitive.
• The role is ideal for a product-minded technology leader who can operate at executive level while staying close enough to product, engineering, architecture, AI adoption, and delivery to drive real outcomes.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and execute the company’s technology strategy in line with business objectives.
• Lead product development, software engineering, architecture, infrastructure, security, and IT operations.
• Oversee the full software development lifecycle from ideation and design through delivery and deployment.
• Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing technology team.
• Define and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance technical architecture.
• Embed AI across the technology team and wider organisation where it improves productivity, quality, and competitive advantage.
• Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and the senior leadership team.
• Manage technology budgets, vendors, strategic partners, and operational risk.
• Ensure the business is well positioned across cybersecurity, data privacy, compliance, and platform resilience.
• Drive innovation while maintaining delivery discipline and commercial alignment.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven success in senior technology leadership roles, ideally CTO, VP Engineering, Head of Engineering, or similar.
• Strong background across software engineering, architecture, product delivery, and technology strategy.
• Experience building and leading high-performing technology teams.
• Strong understanding of scalable platforms, security, cloud, data, and modern engineering practices.
• Experience in a startup, scale-up, digital product, marketplace, healthtech, consumer platform, or high-growth technology environment.
• Strong strategic thinking, commercial judgement, and executive communication.
• Ability to balance innovation, speed, governance, quality, and cost control.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and ability to align technology with company growth.
