This is not a traditional product engineering, solutions consulting or implementation role. Forward Deployed Engineers work directly with enterprise customers and own the technical outcome from discovery through to production. You will take ambiguous operational problems, understand the workflows and systems involved, and build AI agents that work reliably inside complex enterprise environments.

What you’ll do

• Work directly with enterprise customers to understand workflows, technical constraints, data environments and success criteria.
• Translate open-ended business problems into clear technical designs and implementation plans.
• Build production AI agents that perform real tasks across customer and operational workflows.
• Develop integrations across APIs, enterprise platforms, data sources and internal systems.
• Own deployments from discovery and architecture through build, testing, launch, monitoring and continuous improvement.
• Solve implementation challenges involving data access, governance, security, performance and reliability.
• Debug issues across APIs, integrations, data flows, customer environments and agent behaviour.
• Measure production outcomes and improve agent performance using real customer data.
• Partner with Deployment Strategists to define use cases, success metrics and business impact.
• Work closely with Product and Engineering to turn field learnings into platform improvements.
• Create reusable tools, documentation and deployment patterns that help the company scale globally.
• Build customer capability so enterprise teams can expand their AI deployments over time.

What we’re looking for

• 3+ years of experience across software engineering, forward deployed engineering, solutions engineering, implementation engineering, technical consulting or an adjacent technical role.
• Strong software engineering and system design fundamentals.
• Experience building integrations across APIs, enterprise systems, data flows and production environments.
• Ability to turn ambiguous business requirements into technical architecture and executable delivery plans.
• Experience taking systems through design, build, testing, deployment and production support.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug unfamiliar systems quickly.
• Clear communication with engineers, operational stakeholders and senior executives.
• A high-agency mindset, with the confidence to create direction without perfect requirements.
• Genuine interest in AI agents, automation and enterprise transformation.
• Comfort working directly with customers and taking ownership beyond writing code.
