Forward Deployed Engineer - Production AI Agents
We’re partnering with a fast-scaling enterprise AI company building production-grade AI agents for customer service, operations, and workflow automation. The company is backed by leading global investors and is expanding rapidly across international markets.
This role is ideal for an engineer who wants more ownership than a traditional product engineering role, more technical depth than a standard solutions role, and more customer impact than a typical implementation position.
You’ll work directly with enterprise customers to understand operational workflows, design AI-driven systems, integrate with existing platforms, and deploy agents into real-world production environments.
What you’ll do
- Partner with customers to understand business workflows, technical constraints, and success criteria.
- Translate open-ended problems into technical designs and implementation plans.
- Build AI agents that integrate with enterprise systems and perform real operational tasks.
- Own deployments across design, integration, testing, launch, monitoring, and iteration.
- Debug issues across APIs, data flows, customer environments, system behaviour, and AI agent performance.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to improve the platform based on customer learnings.
- Contribute to reusable tools, documentation, patterns, and deployment best practices.
What we’re looking for
- 3+ years in software engineering, forward deployed engineering, solutions engineering, implementation engineering, technical consulting, or adjacent technical roles.
- Strong software and system design fundamentals.
- Experience with APIs, integrations, data flows, production environments, and enterprise systems.
- Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- High-agency mindset and strong ownership of outcomes.
- Genuine interest in AI agents, automation, and enterprise transformation.
